The argument will go on forever, and they should say: "Who was the best centerfielder: Mickey, Willie or the Duke?" The "Say Hey" kid certainly has lifetime stats that would favor him. In 22 years in the Majors, Mays batted over .300 and slugged 660 home runs. He hit at least 29 home runs a season from 1954 to 1966 and drove in over 100 RBI in 12 seasons. This bat shows excellent use with ball, hit, transfer, and green rack marks on most of the barrel and handle. A moderate coat of pine tar is on the handle, with signs of tape removal that was once on the handle in a criss-cross pattern. There is a crack on the upper handle which has been repaired with some nails and glue. Willie signed the front barrel in blue sharpie which rates a solid 8. Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby, Model Number: G69L, Labeling Period: 1969-70, Length: 35 inches, Weight: 33-4/5 ounces, Wood: Ash, Finish: Flame Burned/Treated. The bat comes with two letters from PSA/DNA and an additional letter.
