15 fountain pen vintage signatures of the 1932 World Champion Yankees grace this Reach OAL Harridge baseball, with Babe Ruth on the sweet spot. Also on the ball are Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, Lefty Gomez, Joe Sewell, Herb Pennock, Ben Chapman, Earle Combs, Sammy Byrd, Lyn Lary, Hank Johnson, George Pipgras, Ed Wells, Red Ruffing and Cy Perkins (coach). Seven of these players are in the Hall of Fame. Winning 107 games, the 1932 Yankees swept the Cubs in the World Series. This would be Ruth's last championship year, and he did it with his usual style - 41 homers, 137 RBIs and a .341 batting average. Lefty Gomez pitched for 24 victories, with Red Ruffing chalking up 18. This memorable year marked the return of the pennant to New York, allowing the Yankees to relive the glory of the 1927 season after watching the Philadelphia Athletics win the previous three pennants.
