"I am the straw the stirs the drink." A quote from Reggie Jackson as he tried to gain leadership on the Yankees. Thurman Munson was the Yankee Captain, and didn't want a newcomer to take that away. Reggie Jackson also had bad blood with manager Billy Martin. Midway into the season, on a day that the Yankees were playing the Red Sox, there was a check swing hit to Reggie in right field that he lazily played instead of making the catch, and threw the ball to the pitcher, allowing the batter to receive a double. Martin immediately pulled Jackson, and as Reggie came into the dugout, they had a fight. This bat is ironic, because these three players had bad blood, yet still signed this bat. Featured is a Thurman Munson, Billy Martin, and Reggie Jackson (Mr. October) signed bat. It is a Ron Cey Louisville Slugger bat. The signatures are with a green marker. The Reggie Jackson rates a 7, because a small part of the name is slightly smudged. The Billy Martin rates an 8, and the Thurman Munson rates a 9. The autographs come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
