This lot contains three David Wells game-used, autographed items. All three items were used on 5-24-03, a game that the Yankees lost to Toronto. The hat is a New Era, size 7 1/4, and has an American flag patch on the left side. On the inside brim it says in black marker, "David Wells, 33, 5-24-03, NY-2 VS. TOR-5. The signature and stats rate an 8 and have a David Wells hologram. The glove is a 13 inch, tan Rawlings, model #PRO504DHKSO which shows light game-use. On the outside of the thumb, in red stitching, it says, "Boomer 33, 7." On the outside web of the glove it says, "NY-2 VS. TOR-5, 5-24-03, David Wells." The signature rates an 8 and has a David Wells hologram. The ball is a Rawlings, and shows nice game-use. On the stitching, it says, "5-24-03, TOR-5 VS. NY-3, David Wells." There is an error on the baseball, as it says the Yankees had three runs, as the other two items said they only had two. The autograph on the baseball rates a 9, and all items come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
