1942's "It Happened In Flatbush" is a must for any Brooklyn Dodgers fan. An inspirational film, the Dodgers must pull together to win the pennant after their owner dies, led by a disgraced player turned new manager. Instead of using the old PCL and early Angels ballpark (Wrigley Field in Los Angeles) for the long shot scenes, as was the custom, they used actual Ebbets Field and 1941 World Series clips. This original one-sheet movie poster measures 27" x 41" and grades a F-VF overall. It has been linen backed with minor fold restoration. Great colors and period caricatures giving the poster a true vintage feel.
