Born in Leavenworth, Kansas in 1961, Etheridge got her first guitar at the age of 8, wrote her first song at age 10 and by 12 was playing in a country band. Here are a Gold cassette and record mounted in a 17" x 21" black frame with a plate reading "To commemorate the sale of more than 500,000 copies of the Island Records album, cassette and cd Melissa Ethridge." Adjacent to this is the RIAA hologram.
