Coca-Cola has been producing soft drinks enjoyed the world over since 1886. No other company in history has been as successful as Coca-Cola in marketing their product, promotionally and otherwise. Producing vending machines since the 1930s, the Vendo Company created a classic with their "Vendo 44" model, which was manufactured from 1956-1959. Measuring 57-1/2" high x 16" wide x 15-1/2" deep and weighing 225 lbs., this is the machine found in drive-ins, gas stations and corner stores of the 1950s. The smallest machine ever made for Coca-Cola, the 44 is currently one of the rarest classic vending machines around. It dispenses 44 8-oz bottles (thus the name "44") or 40 12-oz cans of Coke, its red and white exterior features hand-lettered embossing and chrome hardware. This vintage machine has been fully restored to mint condition and is in perfect working order. Shipping will be expensive for this item.
