The International Mercantile Marine Fleet, founded by J.P. Morgan, offered stock in the Titanic and was the financier's only unsuccessful business venture. After the ship went down, all stock certificates were cancelled. The stock number is 09194 and is for three shares of common stock. Mounted below the certificate are two commemorative envelopes signed by two survivors. The signatures are done in black ink, rate 9s and come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
