Mariano Rivera is the ultimate Yankees closer. Since his major league debut in 1995, Rivera has made 283 saves and holds the Major League record for postseason saves and most World Series saves. Rivera earned the 1999 World Series MVP and the 2003 ALCS MVP. On each side, on the back counter and on the sole of the shoe is the "Nike Swoosh" logo. On the tongue flap is the official "2004 MLB All-Star Game" logo patch. On the inside top of the tongue is "MADE IN CHINA" imprinted in white. On the sock lining is the "Nike Swoosh" logo and "Nike Pro." There is an autograph rating a 9 and "Game used 2004 AS Game" in white marker pen on the outside of the shoe. The shoe shows light game use with light dirt residue on the cleats. Accompanied by a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity and by a LOA from Jimmy Spence of PSA/DNA.
