Having being drafted by the NBA, ABA and NFL, Dave Winfield decided to pursue his fortune in baseball after being named MVP of the 1973 college World Series. In his ensuing 22 year Hall of Fame career, Winfield amassed 465 home runs and 3110 hits, putting him in the upper echelons of the all-time great sluggers. In 1992, he helped the Blue Jays to win their first World Series by driving in two runs in the 11th inning of the deciding Game Six. This collection of 24 OML Selig baseballs has each been single signed in blue ballpoint on the sweet spot by Dave Winfield, who added the inscription "HOF 2001." The balls are extremely clean with signatures that grade an overall 8-9. The balls are accompanied by a LOA from Jimmy Spence of PSA/DNA and a Steiner Certificate.
