In an era of great boxers such as Sonny Liston and Floyd Patterson, Muhammad Ali stood head and shoulders above his peers, both inside the ring and out. Having won a gold medal at the 1960 Rome Olympics, Ali's later accomplishments were many: he won six Kentucky Golden Gloves titles; he was an unprecedented three-time world heavyweight champ (1964-1967, 1974-1978, 1978-1979; he was named the "greatest heavyweight champion of all time" by Ring Magazine in 1987, and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1990. Winning his first title from Sonny Liston in 1964 at the age of 22, Ali was victorious in some of the greatest fights of all time - the 1974 bout with George Foreman in Zaire, known forever as the "Rumble in the Jungle," and 1975's "Thrilla in Manila" against Joe Frazier. This collection of six 16" x 20" photos has each been signed in blue or silver ink by Muhammad Ali, as follows: Ali training with speed bag, limited edition 12/50; Ali training with heavy bag, limited edition 10/100; Ali vs. Foreman; Ali vs. Frazier, limited edition 1/100; Ali with Arnold Schwarzenegger, limited edition 1/50; Ali with Michael Jordan, limited edition 46/50.
