On June 7, 2004 the Tampa Bay Lightning won the 2004 Stanley Cup in Game seven at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida by a score of 2-1 over the Calgary Flames. The Lightning are the first team from the final wave of expansion, which began in 1991, to capture a Stanley Cup. Offered in this lot is a corner section of the red carpet measuring 15" x 35" that was used during the Stanley Cup presentation. Underneath the spiked rubber mat that is attached to the carpet is a white lettered label reading "GREASE PROOF". Accompanied by a Steiner Certificate.
