Curt Schilling is one of those special pitchers that will be remembered forever. When Curt Schilling returned to the team that first drafted him, he brought with him the power to restore glory to the Boston Red Sox and break a curse that had haunted the club since 1918. The two-time leader in strikeouts (and 2001 World Series co-MVP) shined as he pitched 21 wins and an impressive 3.26 ERA in 2004. With an injured ankle that made it almost impossible to pitch in the postseason, Schilling worked through it and led the Red Sox to victory, establishing himself as one of the greatest postseason pitchers of all-time. This Schutt 2004 World Series base has been signed in black paint sharpie by Curt Schilling. The base is unused (tags present), with the 2004 World Series logo on the face and the MLB logo on each of the four sides. The signature grades a 7 and comes with a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity as well as a letter from Jimmy Spence of PSA/DNA.
