In the 2001 World Series, star outfielder PAUL O'NEILL shined in his last few games in the major leagues as a NY Yankee. He would lead his team in the series in batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, and stolen bases. This H&B signature model World Series issued bat is pounded with use with large gold ball transfer marks visible on the right barrel. Typical O'Neill cleat marks have been knocked into the right and left sides of the barrel. Tape (17") has been applied to the entire length of the handle in a criss-cross pattern to aide in grip. There are "eyes" drawn onto the front barrel with inscription "WWJD" indicating "What Would Jesus Do?", an attribute found on other O'Neill gamers. Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby, Model Number: C243, Labeling Period: 2001 World Series, Length: 35 inches, Weight: 32 ounces, Wood: Ash, Finish: Flame Burned/Treated. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA and a Yankees-Steiner Collectibles LOA.
