A tremendously used Original Maple Bat Co. SAM club used by the talented youngster ALFONSO SORIANO from the Dominican Republic. In 2002, Alfonso hit career highs in RBI's, home runs, doubles, hits and batting average. This model AS12 helped contribute to his huge success with evidence of ball hit marks on the left and back barrel. Heavy pine tar remains on the upper handle and tape (11") is applied in a criss-cross pattern along the lower handle. Cleat marks on the back and left barrel areas are typical of Soriano batting habits. Bat specs are marked in black pen on the barrel end.
