This team ordered bat from 1969-72 is extremely unique with its heavily coated black pine tar handle. Aaron would often use this type of tar to add weight to his bats during warmup and in the on-deck circle. This barrel shows use on the left and front, with scoring evident on the left barrel which has been coated with a layer of urethane. The all time leader in career homers signed the front barrel in blue marker which rates a solid 9. Bat is accompanied with an SI magazine cover showing Aaron with one of his black pine tar covered bats.
