Signed by the Giants in 1955, Cepeda made his debut in the 1958 season and was named NL rookie of the year. The following season he would make his first of seven career All Star appearances. This particular bat was used during the 1959 All Star game. Overall good use on Cepeda's 1959 All Star bat, with hit marks visible along the left barrel. A light amount of pine tar is evident on the upper handle. The player name "CEPEDA" is stamped in block letter on the barrel along with "1959 All Star Game".
