A powerful hitter, in 64 games Keith Hernandez had a slugging percentage of .362. The 1979 National League MVP was also an excellent fielder, winning 11 Gold Glove Awards at First Base. On the right inside tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturers tag with wash instructions and the jersey size "42" on it. Attached to that is an additional manufacturers tag with "SET 1 #8P 1975" on it. Across the front of the jersey is "Cardinals" and the "Cardinals on a bat" logo embroidered in red, black and yellow. Below that on the left and on the back is the player number "37" in red on black tackle twill. Across the back is "HERNANDEZ" in red on black tackle twill on a grey name plate. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
