One of the most powerful home run hitters of the modern baseball era. In only 231 at bats, he hit 32 home runs, drove in 73 RBIs, and had a .305 batting average. McGwire retired after the 2001 season with 583 career home runs. On the inside front left tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturers tag with wash instructions on it. Attached to the side of that is an additional manufacturers tag with "SET 2 2000" on it. Attached to the bottom of the "Rawlings" tag are two additional manufacturers tags with the jersey size "52" and "2 INCH LONGER SLEEVES, 1 INCH WIDER SLEEVES, ½ INCH SIDE OPENINGS" on them. Across the front of the jersey is "Cardinals" in script and the "Cardinals on a Bat" logo embroidered in red, yellow and black. Below that on the left and on the back of the jersey is the player number "25" in red on black tackle twill. Across the back is "MC GWIRE" in red on black tackle twill on a grey name plate. On the back outside collar is the official "MLB" embroidered logo. On the left sleeve is the "Rawlings" embroidered logo. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
