Nolan Ryan is one of the greatest power pitchers in the history of the game. Picked in the 12th round of the 1965 draft by the New York Mets, he turned out to be a steal. The eight-time All-Star was arguably the most dominant pitcher of his day throwing a career record seven no-hitters. Inside the front left tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions, and jersey size "46" on it. Attached is a flag tag reading "SET 1 1988." Across the front of the jersey is "Astros" in blue on white tackle twill. Below that is the "Astros" logo patch. Across the back of the jersey is "RYAN" in blue tackle twill on a white nameplate. Below that is the player number "34" in blue on white tackle twill. The jersey is autographed in black marker rating an 8 on the left breast. On the inside back of the waistband is the "W. A. Goodman & Sons" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions and size "34" on it. Adjacent to that is a tag with "RYAN 34-25 SET 1 '85" on it. The pants have blue stirrups. The uniform shows game use, and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from Jimmy Spence of PSA DNA.
