One of the premier pitchers of the 1990s, Greg Maddux of the Braves won the NL Cy Young Award four consecutive years from 1992 to 1995. His 15 wins and 2.72 ERA in the regular season helped the Braves to the Playoffs and 1996 World Series. In the World Series against the Yankees, Maddux went 1-1 with a 1.72 ERA. On the left tail of the jersey is the "Russell" manufacturers tag with wash instructions and the jersey size "44" on it. Attached to that is an additional manufacturers tag. Across the front of the jersey is "Atlanta" in script in red on black tackle twill. Below that is the "Braves" tomahawk logo in red, yellow and blue on black tackle twill. Across the back is "MADDUX" in black tackle twill on a grey name plate. Below that is the player number "31" in red on blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the official "1996 World Series" embroidered logo patch. On the right sleeve is the "Russell" embroidered logo. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
