On the inside back collar of the jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturers tag with wash instructions and the jersey size "46" on it. Attached to that is an additional manufacturers tag with "SET 1 1989" on it. Below the "Rawlings" tag are two additional manufacturers tags with "40 89 3 46" and "2 INCH EXTRA LENGTH" on them. On the left breast is the official "Cubs" embroidered logo patch. Across the back of the jersey is "SUTCLIFFE." Below that is the player number "40." All lettering and numbering is done in red on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the official "Cubs bear" embroidered logo patch. On the right sleeve is the embroidered "Rawlings" logo. On the inside back waistband of the pants is the "Wilson" manufacturers tag with wash instructions and the pants size "35" on it. Adjacent to that is an additional manufacturers tag with "40 86 2 35 28" on it. The jersey and pants show game use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
