Willie Mays, one of the most complete baseball players ever, continued to assist the Giants as a Spring Training Coach once his playing days were over. On the inside left front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturers tag with wash instructions and the jersey size "44" on it. Below that is an additional manufacturers tag with "1989 24" on it. Across the front of the jersey is "GIANTS." Across the back of the jersey is "MAYS" on a white name plate. Below that is the coaches number "24." All lettering and numbering is done in black on orange tackle twill. There is an autograph in black marker rating a 9 on the left front of the jersey. The jersey shows use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from Jimmy Spence of PSA/DNA.
