On the inside back collar of the jersey is the "McAuliffe Uniform Corp." manufacturers tag. Below that is an additional manufacturers tag with "43" on it. On the left front tail of the jersey is an additional manufacturers tag with wash instructions and "1978" on it. Across the front of the jersey is "BOSTON." On the back of the jersey is the player number "23." All lettering and numbering is done in red on black tackle twill. There is an autograph in black in rating a 9 on the lower front center of the jersey. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from Jimmy Spence of PSA/DNA.
