Dennis Eckersley was one of the best relief pitchers in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1992 for the Oakland Athletics, he won seven games, however it was his prowess in coming in from the bullpen to shut town opposing teams that won him the AL Cy Young Award, Rolaids Relief Pitcher of the Year Award, and the league's MVP award. Eckersley was elected to the Baseball HoF in 2004. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Russell" manufacturers tag with wash instructions and the jersey size "46" on it. Across the front of the jersey is "Oakland" in script in green on yellow tackle twill. Below that on the left and on the back is the player number "43" in green on yellow tackle twill. Across the back of the jersey is "ECKERSLEY" in green tackle twill on a grey name panel. On the left sleeve is the official "Athletic's elephant" embroidered logo patch. On the right sleeve is the official "Oakland A's 25th Anniversary" embroidered logo patch. Below that is the "Russell" embroidered logo. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from the team.
