Offered in this lot is a 35 inch limited edition (#27 of 50) 1989 Cooperstown 50th Anniversary metal bat. This bat is composed of metal with silver plating and is a replica of a wooden Louisville Slugger 125 model bat. The barrel has been engraved with the words "NATIONAL BASEBALL HALL OF FAME - COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. - 27 OF 50". Adjacent to that is a Hall of Fame "50 YEARS - 1939-1989" logo. The bat has a few minor scrapes and a small amount of the silver plating has been chipped off of the rear barrel giving it an overall condition of VGEX. A protective black cloth bat case is included.
