1929 World Series program (Athletics edition) signed in black fountain pen on the cover by President Herbert Hoover, who attended the fifth and final game on 10-14-1929 at Shibe Park. Inside, the program has been signed in fountain pen by 30 members of the legendary A's team: Connie Mack (HOF), Jimmie Foxx (HOF), Bing Miller, Al Simmons (HOF), Sam Hale, George Earnshaw, Lefty Grove (HOF), Jimmie Dykes, Max Bishop, Mickey Cochrane (HOF), Joe Boley, Jack Quinn, Homer Summa, Rube Walberg, Cy Perkins, Mule Haas, Wally French, Bill Shores, Howard Ehmke, Bevo LeBorveau, Eddie Rommel, Lefty Yerkes, George Burns, Jimmie Cronin, Bill Breckenridge, Earl Mack (coach), Eddie Collins, Kid Gleason (coach), Doc Ebling (trainer) and Steve Pflueger (club house attendant). The program shows some small tears with surface and edge wear, the spine being held together by tape. The interior is very clean, the A's have signed on their photos, with signatures that grade a strong 8-9 overall. Accompanied by a LOA from Jimmy Spence of PSA/DNA.
