Led by HOFers Tris Speaker and Harry Hooper, the 1912 Boston Red Sox defeated the New York Giants to win their first of four World Series in seven years; after 1918, they would not win another until 2004. This rare 23" pennant is made of red felt with a Red Sox pitcher and "1912 Champions" on the left. In fantastic condition for its age, tassels intact, there are three tiny holes on the upper left corner and mild staining on the center and right. Pennant appears to be trimmed. Manufactured by The Henry Schwartz Company, New York.
