Offered in this lot is a complete retro 1940s AIS manufactured Racine Belles womens baseball league uniform. In the center of the uniform is the team patch "CITY OF RACINE BELLES". On the left sleeve is a red, white and blue "GPBL" league patch. On the back of the uniform is a brown number "7" done in brown tackle twill. Around the waistline is a brown four notch fabric belt. Also included with the uniform is a pair of brown and white knee-high wool stirrups, size adult small nylon undershorts and a brown cap. The wool cap features a white "R" Racine logo, has a leather head lining and a elastic insert has been sewn into the rear of the cap.
