Offered in this lot are two limited edition National Baseball Hall of Fame issued gold coin proofs featuring Ruth, Cobb, Johnson, Mathewson and Wagner. These coins were designed by Frank Gasparro, former Chief Engraver of the United States Mint. These two 24 karat gold proofs each weigh twenty grams and are thirty two millimeters in diameter. Each coin is encased inside a plastic holder that is held in a 4-3/4" x 5" wood box. The coins are in MINT condition.
