Professionally matted inside a 15-1/2" x 11-1/4" frame is a 9" x 7" B&W photograph of Elston Howard and a 1-1/2" x 3" pink card signed by Elston in blue pen rating a 9. Also included in this lot is 8" x 10" color photograph of Elston Howard and Frank Sinatra inside a 11" x 9" chrome frame. Also included is a 21-1/4" x 21-1/4" wood framed piece that was presented to George Steinbrenner on August 28, 1980 by New York City Transit. The award has a large picture of a ship with what appears to be a map for ships. On the left of this is a clock and below it is a wheel denoting the time zones of the world. There is a black plaque engraved, "Presented to George Steinbrenner Principal Owner New York Yankees / In recognition of his outstanding contribution to our Big Wheel Bus Operator Program and for his sponsorship of Mass Transit Day at Yankee Stadium / The New York City Transit Authority and Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority / August 28, 1980. Also included in this lot is a 1955 award presented to Elston Howard from the YMCA. The wooden award plaque measures 14" x 12" and is 3/4" in thickness. At the top of the award is a 1-1/2" x 5" metal enscription reading "AWARD TO ELSTON HOWARD - FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN BASEBALL - PHYSICAL COMMITTEE OF THE PINE STREET YMCA - 1955".
