One of the flashiest ballhandlers to play the game, Earl "The Pearl" Monroe thrilled crowds with his moves and showmanship. Monroe joined with six other Hall of Famers to bring the Knicks the 1972 NBA Championship. Earl gained attention leading Winston-Salem State to the NCAA Division II title, and then went on to win 1968 NBA Rookie of the Year honors with the Baltimore Bullets. Named one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history in 1996, Monroe was elected to the Basketball HoF in 1990. On the front tail of the jersey is the "Medalist Sand-Knit" manufacturers tag with wash instructions and jersey size "44" on it. Above that is the "Cosby" distributors tag. Across the front of the jersey is "NEW YORK" in orange on blue tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "15" in orange on blue tackle twill. Across the back is "MONROE" in blue tackle twill. There is an autograph in black marker rating an 8 on the front numbers . The jersey shows good game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from Jimmy Spence of PSA/DNA.
