On the front tail of this 1985 St. Johns University Final Four jersey is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturers tag with jersey size "44" on it. Across the front of the jersey is the University name "ST. JOHN'S". Below that and on the back of the jersey is the player number "20". On the inside back waistband of the shorts is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturers tag and the shorts size "34" on it, the manufacturers tag also has the player number "20" written in black pen. The white and blue waistband is elasticized with a white cloth drawstring. Along the left hip are the letters "SJU". All lettering and numbering on the jersey and shorts has been done in white on navy blue tackle twill. The jersey and shorts show game use and appear to have no alterations of any kind. This lot is accompanied with a letter from Dean Doukas explaining how the uniform was obtained from Mullins college roommate after St. Johns loss to Georgetown.
