On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Champion" manufacturers tag with wash instructions and the jersey size "56" on it. Adjacent to that is an additional manufacturers year tag with "BODY LENGTH +6" on it. Across the front of the jersey is "LAKERS." Below that and on the back of the jersey is the player number "34." Across the back of the jersey is "O'NEAL." All lettering is done in purple on white tackle twill. All numbering is done in purple shadow-edged white tackle twill. On the left breast is the official "NBA" logo embroidered in gold (used for the 1996-97 NBA 50th Anniversary season). The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
