Andy Russell helped anchor the Pittsburgh Steelers defense from 1963 through 1976. An integral part of the famous "Steel Curtain," Russell helped the Steelers to victories in two Super Bowls. The linebacker was named to the Pro Bowl seven times in his career. On the right side of the helmet is the "Steelers" logo sticker. On both the front and the back of the helmet is the player number "34" in white vinyl. The interior has the original suspension canvas webbing, on which is stamped the helmet size "7 3/8" in black ink. The facemask is also original. On the inside right of the helmet is the player number "34" in black marker. The helmets shows excellent game use with numerous scratches and gouges. The "Steelers" logo has many scratches with pieces missing. The original ear pads and chinstrap are missing.
