This helmet was worn by Baltimore Colts defensive back Ron Gardin #30 during Super Bowl V on January 17, 1971. The back of this white Baltimore Colts helmet is stamped with the "Riddell" manufacturers name and "KRA-LITE" model name, the player number "30" has been attached to the back of the helmet with two numbered stickers. The Colts "Horseshoe" logo is affixed to each side of the helmet. The interior has the original suspension canvas webbing and leather ear pads. The facemask and Riddell chinstrap are also original. On the canvas webbing is the helmet size "6-7/8" in black ink. The helmet shows excellent game use with many scratches and nicks. This helmet is accompanied with two LOAs from assistant Super Bowl V equipment manager Al Torres.
