On the inside back collar of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturers tag with the jersey size "48" on it. Below that is an additional manufacturers with "95" on it. On the bottom front collar is the official "NFL" embroidered logo. On the front, back and on each shoulder of the jersey is the player number "41." Across the back of the jersey is "BYARS" on a white name plate. All lettering and numbering is done in green on orange tackle twill. On each sleeve is the official "Dolphin" logo screen printed in green and orange. Above that on each sleeve is a "Wilson" embroidered logo patch. There is an autograph and "41" in silver marker rating an 8 on the back number "4" of the jersey. The jersey shows excellent game use. Both shoulders have been extensively repaired by the team, with the "Wilson" logo patches appearing to be replacements for an original "Wilson" embroidered logo. There are additional team repairs on the back and the name plate, and the screen printed logos have been scratched. Byars wore this jersey for many games during the 1995 season, including the November 26th game vs. the Colts, in which Dan Marino threw his 343rd touchdown pass to break Frank Tarkenton's record. Aside from the team repairs, the jersey appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from Jimmy Spence of PSA/DNA and an additional LOA.
