Many football experts view Joe Montana as the best quarterback to ever play the game and it is tough to argue against that notion. Montana led the San Francisco 49ers to four Super Bowl titles, garnering MVP in three of those games, was selected to eight Pro Bowls and placed fourth all-time in both passing yards and touchdown passes following his retirement in 1994. Aside from his innate ability to find the open receiver, Montana was also known for his consistency. In fact, the former Notre Dame star led the 49ers to a first-place finish in the NFC West every year except for two from 1981-1990. This Bike San Francisco helmet has the "49ers" stickers on each side. On the inside left ear of the helmet is "16" in black marker. The helmet has the original foam padding and webbing and chinstrap. The helmet shows excellent game use with several nicks on the exterior. The left ear pad is missing from the interior.
