Muhammad Ali was stripped of his hard-won heavyweight title in 1967 after refusing induction into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His last fight as Champion took place at Madison Square Garden on March 22, 1967, when he beat Zora Folley by TKO in the 7th round. It would be Ali's last fight in the ring for over three years. This was of course unbeknownst at the time, leaving this as one of only two known historic posters from that fight, framed to 23" x 29". Poster is heavily creased down the center and shows some corner wear, taking nothing away from this ultra rare poster. Printed by the Murray Poster Printing Company in New York, as indicated on the lower right. Also has the Distributors Union Label stamp on the right center.
