On June 28, 1939, "The Brown Bomber" Joe Louis beat Tony Galento by TKO in the fourth round at Yankee Stadium to retain the title. This lot consists of one full NRMT-MINT ticket from that bout, as well as an 8" x 10" vintage photo from early in the fight, picturing Louis on the canvas after being knocked down. Photo is in EX-EXMT condition with light overall wear and some creasing on the lower left corner.
