This stunning sample trophy is known as a Victor Award and is regarded as the sporting equivalent of an Academy Award, it acknowledges outstanding athletic achievement in sport. This "Golfer of the Year" Victor award was presented to golfer Tiger Woods in 1997 during the 31st Victor Awards ceremony. The bottom plating has been engraved "VICTOR AWARDS XXXI - TIGER WOODS - GOLFER OF THE YEAR - VOTED BY THE ACADEMY OF NATIONAL SPORTS MEDIA - CITY OF HOPE - 1997". This gold finish metal statue stands nineteen inches tall and sits on top of a black marble base. This award is in overall EX condition.
