Extremely rare check dated November 29, 1814 in the amount of $14.50, made out and signed in quill pen during his Presidency by James Madison, the fourth President of the United States (1809-1817). Framed to 11 ½" x 18" with a beautiful 8" x 10" wood engraving, the check measures 8" x 2 ½" and shows some edge wear. The signature grades a 7-8. Accompanied by a LOA from Jimmy Spence of PSA/DNA.
