Oscar Robertson set 19 school and 14 NCAA records at the University of Cincinnati while leading the Bearcats to a 79-9 record and two straight NCAA Finals. He was named National College Player of the Year an unprecedented three times, and co-captained the 1960 Olympic Team that won Gold Medals. "The Big O" began a 14-year career in the NBA by winning the 1960 Rookie of the Year award and All-Star Game MVP honors, and led the league in assists, something he would do eight more times. He would win two more All-Star MVPs in 12 games. In 1968 he became the first player to lead the NBA in scoring and assists in the same season. Robertson was named to nine All-NBA First Teams, and was awarded the league MVP in 1964. In 1971 he teamed with fellow Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to bring the NBA title to Milwaukee. Robertson retired in 1972 with 26,710 points, 9,887 rebounds and an NBA career record 7,804 assists. He was named one of the 50 greatest players in the NBA in 1996. Silver Relief medallion.
