Known as "Caveman," Tom Barlow played on a dozen professional teams, frequently on two or three at a time, and became a star in the early years of pro basketball from 1912 to 1932. He helped the Philadelphia SPHAs and Warriors defeat two of the paramount teams of the era, the Original New York Celtics and New York Renaissance. The "Father of Hungarian Basketball", Contributor Ferenc Hepp was a Springfield College graduate and the first director of the Hungarian National Physical Education and Sports Institute. He served as President of the Hungarian Basketball Federation in 1954 and on FIBA's Central Board beginning in 1956. After serving as sports information director at Notre Dame, Contributor J. Walter Kennedy joined the NBA as public relations director in 1949. He also served in the same capacity with the Harlem Globetrotters, and was Mayor of Stamford, CT. He became NBA Commissioner in 1963, grew the league in size, improved its finances, and greatly increased the visibility of basketball via television. Arad McCutchan compiled a 515-313 coaching record at the University of Evansville. In 31 seasons, his teams won five NCAA College Division (now Division II) Championships, in 1959, 1960, 1964, 1965 and 1971. McCutchan also served as U.S. Olympic Trials coach in 1960 and 1968. All are Silver Relief medallions. Barlow and Kennedy are in excellent condition; very slight wear on the tips of the noses. Hepp is in excellent condition; very slight scratch on nose. McCutchan is in good condition; slight stain on background, tip of nose and chin slightly worn, chipped on the bottom edge.
