Playing for his coaching father at LSU, Pete Maravich was a three-time All-America, the 1970 College Player of the Year, and averaged 44.2 points per game for the Tigers over three years. He set numerous NCAA scoring records, including the all-time NCAA career record with 3,667 points. A flamboyant and innovative guard, "Pistol Pete" spent four years with the Atlanta Hawks before going to the New Orleans Jazz where he peaked as an NBA showman and superstar. Maravich finished his NBA career with the Utah Jazz and Boston Celtics in 1980. The four-time All-NBA player led the league in scoring in 1977 (31.1 points per game, 2,273 total points) and was selected to five All-Star Games. Pete was named one of the 50 greatest NBA players in 1996. Silver Relief medallion. In very good condition; small black oxidation spots on the lower half of the surface, slight scratch on the jersey.
