Class of 1990 - Owner of a devastating hook shot that made him one of the NBA's best scorers with the Philadelphia Warriors, Neil Johnston led the NBA in scoring three consecutive years (1952-55) and appeared in six All-Star Games. The 6'8" center teamed with fellow Hall of Famers Tom Gola and Paul Arizin to capture the 1956 NBA Championship. Johnston also led the league in rebounding in 1955, and in field goal percentage three times. He retired as a player with 10,023 points in eight seasons. Class of 1991 - Contributor Larry Fleisher formed the NBA Players Association union. He helped establish a model anti-drug program, improved player salaries, benefits and pensions, and negotiated the agreement that established the NBA salary cap and free agent systems. When he became NBA Commissioner in 1975, Contributor Larry O'Brien had served as Chair of the Democratic National Committee and President Kennedy's Postmaster General. O'Brien negotiated the merger between the ABA and NBA, arranged for network television contracts, and signed a historic collective bargaining agreement between the NBA and the NBA Players Union. The current NBA Championship Trophy is named after him. Contributor Boris Stankovic was appointed Secretary-General of FIBA, the international governing body of basketball, in 1976 and led that organization until his retirement in 2002. Under his leadership, the sport experienced great international growth, with professional players becoming eligible for Olympic and World medals. All are Silver Relief medallions. Johnston is in excellent condition; very slight scratch on lower left cheek. Fleisher is in NM condition. O'Brien is in very good condition; scratches on background. Stankovic is in fair condition; deeps scratches and one dent on background.
