Coach Pete Carril took over the program at Princeton in 1967, and when he retired after the 1996 season, was the only Division I coach to record 500 wins without ever providing athletic scholarships. His fundamental, disciplined style of play led his teams to 13 Ivy League titles and only one loosing season in 29 years. Pete's teams earned 13 post-season bids and the Ivy League's only NIT Championship in 1975. A star center leading Nashville Business College to 10 AAU titles in the 1950s and 1960s, Joan Crawford was named to 13 consecutive AAU All-America teams. She led the USA Women's Team to Gold Medals at the 1957 World Championships (over Russia), and the 1959 and 1963 Pan American Games. Coach of the Spanish National Team for 27 years and over 300 international games, Antonio Diaz-Miguel led his teams through six Olympics, winning the Silver Medal in 1984. He also directed his squad in 14 European Championships. Alex English set scoring records in high school and at the University of South Carolina, where he is one of only five players to record 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. English joined the Nuggets in 1980, and in his 10 seasons in Denver, he set 31 Nuggets' records, including points scored (21,645), scoring average (25.9 points per game), games played (837), and minutes played (29,893). A great jump shooter, English appeared in eight NBA All-Star Games. He also played one season in Italy after retirement from the NBA. Known as "the Bear," Don Haskins created a revolution in basketball in 1966 when his all-black Texas Western (now UTEP) upset an all-white Kentucky team to capture the NCAA Championship. Haskins led UTEP to the NCAA "Sweet 16" in 1992. All are Silver Relief medallions. Crawford and English are in NM condition. Carril is in good condition; scratches on background, neck and suit coat. Diaz-Miguel is in very good condition; scratches on background. Haskins in good condition; scratches on background, tip of nose and on forehead.
