Class of 1999 - An All-Star player with the Celtics, Bucks and Royals, Contributor Wayne Embry was a superstar in the front office. In 1979 he became the first African-American NBA General Manager with Milwaukee, and first team President in 1994 with the Cavaliers. He has won the NBA Executive of the Year Award twice, in 1992 and 1998. After coaching Cal State Fullerton to a 140-15 record from 1969 to 1977, Billie Moore led UCLA to 296 wins from 1977 to 1993. Her teams won the AIAW Championships in 1970 and 1978. She retired with a post-season record of 59-18. Selected as the first US Women's Olympic coach, Moore led Hall of Famers Ann Meyers, Nancy Lieberman and Lusia Harris-Stewart to the Silver Medal in 1976. A key figure in the merger of the NBL and BAA that formed the NBA, Fort Wayne Piston's owner and Hall of Fame Contributor Fred Zollner was instrumental in the success of the NBA. He was a strong advocate of rules changes, including the six foul rule and the widening of the free throw lane. Zollner owned the Pistons from their creation as an amateur team in 1941 through 1974. During that time, his teams won the 1944 and 1945 NBL Championships, and in 1952, became the first to travel by airplane. Class of 2000 - Without Contributor Danny Biasone, pro basketball would be much different and probably not as popular. Biasone, the owner of the Syracuse Nats, persuaded the NBA to introduce his concept of the 24-second shot clock in 1954. Biasone was also instrumental in the NBA's adoption of the 2-shot backcourt foul rule. As President of the Nats, Biasone's teams posted winning seasons in 11 of 14 NBA seasons and took home the NBA title in 1955. All are Zinc-Etched medallions. Embry is in very good condition; black background chipped below right ear and slightly chipped on middle right side. Moore is in good condition; black background chipped in four places on right side. Zollner is in good condition; scratch on shirt near necktie, black background chipped on lower left. Biasone is in NM condition.
