NBA Hall of Famer "Pistol Pete" Maravich was a spectacular showman who helped open up the game of basketball in the 1970s. After a legendary college career at Louisiana State, he played ten productive seasons in the NBA, earning five trips to the NBA All-Star Game and one league scoring title. On the inside collar of this green shooting shirt is the manufacturer's "Medalist Sand-Knit" size "42" wash tag. On the front right breast is "Pete" embroidered in white script. On the front left breast the outline of the "Boston Celtics" patch remains. Across the back of the shooting shirt is "MARAVICH" in white tackle twill sewn directly on the shirt. Obtained from a team employee. The shooting shirt shows wear and besides the patch being removed has no alterations of any kind.
