At Ohio State, three-time All-America Jerry Lucas teamed with John Havlicek and Bob Knight to lead the Buckeyes to three straight NCAA Finals and the 1960 NCAA Championship. He also won Olympic Gold in 1960. College Player of the Year in 1960 and 1961, Lucas was NBA Rookie of the Year with the Cincinnati Royals. He played 11 years with Cincinnati, San Francisco and New York, appeared in seven All-Star contests (Game MVP in 1965), and was integral in the Knicks' 1973 NBA Championship. When he retired, he ranked fourth all-time in NBA career rebounds with 12,942, just behind Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell and Bob Pettit. Lucas was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1980. On the left front tail of this white jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with a size "46" flag tag attached. There is a black memorial armband on left shoulder to honor the death of Phil Jordan. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations.
